Listed as one of the best by Conde Nast Traveler, the hotel is said to be haunted by one of the designers involved in the construction, who committed suicide by jumping off from the fifth floor, when he realized the hotel was facing the wrong direction. His spirit is said to roam around the hallway of the hotel and is said to roam on the rooftop.
2. Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, Canada

Built in 1888, the hotel was erected to upsurge tourism in the west. It has served famous personalities like Marilyn Monroe, Helen Keller, Queen Elizabeth II, and many more. Besides sitting pretty in the Rocky ranges in Banff, Alberta, the hotel is said to be going through mystical activities. 8. Toftaholm HerrgårD, Sweden

Erected on the coasts of Lake VidÖstern in southern Sweden, the manor is as old as the 14th century. Guests have reportedly heard banging doors and windows. The place is said to be haunted by the poverty-stricken peasant lover of the baron’s daughter, who the castle belonged to. The boy later committed suicide in room 324 because the girl was forced into marrying someone else. The spirit of the boy is said to loiter around the manor to date.
